We do not recommend opening the frame unless absolutely necessary. If your film cell/strip slides loose and becomes off-center inside the frame, push on the indent labeled “Push” on the bottom of the frame and carefully open it. Reposition the film to the desired position, and then snap the frame closed. If the film continues to slide, reposition it again and try pinching the cell/strip from both sides of the clear membrane to create a tighter seal to hold the film in place. Do this with a microfiber cloth to avoid fingerprints. Unless doing this, it is not recommended to touch the frame’s clear membrane as it may cause unwanted creases. 

 

To prolong the life of your film and keep it from fading:

-Avoid storing it in an environment that is hot or humid

-Avoid placing it in direct sunlight for extended amounts of time
